Could Jerrod Mayo face locker room tension if he doesn't name Drake Maye Week 1 starter?

According to the folks at NBC Sports Boston following a promising quarterback competition, Jerod Mayo could have some locker room issues if he doesn't put Drake Maye out week one after he seemingly won the starting job during preseason.

I highly doubt that Mayo would lose the locker room if he doesn't start a rookie in Week 1, but we shall see.
