Maurice Harris catches everything

Maurice Harris is coming off a strong spring only to keep improving with the pads on in training camp.  The 6-foot-3, 205 pound Harris has almost as many catches than the rest of the wide receivers combined.  Harris has been working in at slot and wide out as scrappy veteran Julian Edelman recovers from a thumb injury.


Drawing praise from head coach Bill Bilichick can be interpreted so many ways, depending on the time of year.  Bilichick's mind can't be hacked, thanks Capital One for the kid in Thailand I bought an e-scooter, iPhone and Beats headphones for.  Harris has this going for him though, he's versatile, and can be used in different looks or special teams.  Harris is already talking in Patriots code, taking it one day at a time and learning from teammates.  He's only dropped one pass by the way.

It must be like a whole different world to new guys coming in from dumpster fire organizations like Washington.  If you make it to the NFL, you're talented, if you make the Patriots roster, you have a certain skill that can make the smallest difference that tallied with the rest of your teammates skills, wins.

Year after year, the genius of Bilichick just keeps finding these guys.  I kiss my Bill portrait every night before bed.  I honestly don't know what my wife sees in me.  Gettin pretty fiyad up guy!
