Patriots to re-sign DE John Simon

When the Patriots picked up John Simon after he was released by the Colts in September, no one thought much of the move.
It turned out to be a huge one for the Pats, who are set to re-sign the defensive end today, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. As a situational pass rusher, Simon recorded 17 tackles and two sacks.
