We all saw it coming.
After the Patriots had free agent wide receiver Eric Decker in for a workout earlier this week, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the team will sign him to a one-year deal.

And it’s neither here nor there, but is there now a better looking QB-WR combo in the NFL than Tom Brady and Decker?
Really not sure what the point of the second half of the tweet is, but OK...
Anyway, with the release of Jordan Matthews, the four-game suspension of Julian Edelman and injuries to Kenny Britt and Malcolm Mitchell, adding another body to the group seemed inevitable. As of now, there is no word on the details of the contract aside from it being only for a year.
