Patriots sign Shaq Mason to a 5-year contract extension

The Patriots are keeping a key piece of their offensive line around for a while.
News broke minutes ago that the team has locked up guard Shaq Mason, signing him to a five-year, $50 million extension.

Mason was drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft and has been a stalwart on the Pats' offensive line ever since.
