The New England Patriots got back to work on Wednesday for the team’s fourth OTA and were greeted by a special guest.
Members of the team got to learn the #MambaMentality as NBA superstar Kobe Bryant was in attendance on Wednesday. Many players were excited to meet the five-time NBA champion and 2008 NBA MVP and took to social media to show it.

Bryant’s visit comes after an announcement this week that his book “The Mamba Mentality: How I Play” will be released in October. He spent time out at practice and even took part in team meetings.
The Patriots are known to often host players and coaches from other sports at their facility, as they welcomed Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens, Baseball Hall of Famer Tony La Russa and Georgia men’s basketball coach Tom Crean last year.
