Things are a little strange in the New England area.
For starters, the Patriots were without quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski for the team’s voluntary workouts last week. And secondly, neither player has confirmed if they are returning for the 2018 season.
But it was recently reported by Pro Football Talk that a source close to both players says Brady and Gronk are expected to play this year.
That’s good news for Patriots fans, but there are still a lot of strange and unclear circumstances at the moment. Is Brady just trying to have more family time before getting back to work? Is Gronkowski trying to be paid more? Are they still upset about Malcolm Butler’s mysterious Super Bowl benching?
No one knows the truths to any of these theories, but we are expected to see them back this coming year.
