Patriots re-sign Rex Burkhead to a 3-year deal

The Patriots and running back Rex Burkhead have agreed to a three-year deal, according to multiple reports.

Burkhead only played in 10 games last season but was very effective when called upon. He ran 64 times for 264 yards and five touchdowns while catching a career-high 30 passes for 254 yards and three scores.
