Report says Patriots expect Matt Patricia to take Lions head coaching job

The Patriots are expecting Matt Patricia to walk out the door at the end of their season.
Patricia, who has interviewed with multiple teams for their head coaching positions, is thought to be the leading candidate for the Detroit Lions job. He's expected to take the job and the Patriots are preparing to lose him.
Patricia can't accept the job officially until after the season, and he doesn't even seem to care about it right now. When asked about a potential head coaching job, Patricia, who has a relationship with Lions GM Bob Quinn, downplayed it and said he was focused on the Titans.
Detroit News:
“You know, I have relationships with guys throughout the entire league, and I obviously like to maintain my relationships to the best of my ability,” he said. “But, really right now, my focus is on Tennessee and just trying to get ready for what we've got in front of us. That's kind of my main thing right now.”
The Patriots host the Titans on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium in the divisional round.
