Full participation at Sunday’s practice means that Gronk, Wise and Brown should be good to go
Matt Stone | Boston Herald |
It seems to be “all systems go” for the New England Patriots.
The team took part in their final practice at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, and all 53 active players on the roster were present.
The perfect attendance comes just in time before the Patriots’ Super Bowl send-off rally this morning. It also means that things are looking good for tight end Rob Gronkowski, defensive edge Deatrich Wise Jr. and defensive tackle Malcom Brown.
Brown returned to practice after missing all three previous practices this week. He was listed on the injury report with an ankle injury. Gronk and Wise Jr. are currently in the concussion protocol, but their returns to the field are a good sign for next Sunday’s big game.
Official status updates will be posted on Wednesday.
