The Patriots filled their two open roster spots by signing linebacker Nicholas Grigsby from the Ravens' practice squad, and offensive lineman Jason King, who was with the Pats during training camp, to the active roster.
Grigsby went undrafted in 2016 but was picked up by the Rams. He spent time on their practice squad and the active roster, but didn't have any stats.
King was released as part of the final roster cuts in camp and spent time on the Pats' practice squad.
The two roster spots opened as a result of Martellus Bennett and Nate Ebner being placed on injured reserve.
