Patriots sign DL Ricky Jean-Francois

In the wake of injuries to Malcom Brown, Vincent Valentine and others, the Patriots have signed veteran defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois.



Francois, 31, was released last week by the Packers after appearing in only six games. He has recorded 166 tackles and 12 sacks in his nine-year career.
