The 2007 New England Patriots were a team that will go down in history as one of the best ever.
The offense was nearly unstoppable that season. Tom Brady tallied 4,806 passing yards and a then-record of 50 touchdowns, while Randy Moss totaled 1,493 receiving yards and a current NFL record of 23 touchdowns.
On Brady’s 25th touchdown of the season, he completed a 50-yard touchdown to Randy Moss who was effortlessly able to beat the Miami Dolphins who were in double coverage.

After a fan tweeted a video looking back on that crazy play, Donté Stallworth gave us a reminder of just how good the team was that year.
Another great backstory here. Randy lined up wrong and we ran an improvised play here literally on the fly. This is the result. https://t.co/93H0yHvAyR— Donté Stallworth (@DonteStallworth) July 17, 2017
I was so hype I grabbed him & yelled, "you ain't shit!!" b/c he & I improvised on the LoS and discussed our routes. He scores effortlessly 🤣 pic.twitter.com/qW0kRvElWi— Donté Stallworth (@DonteStallworth) July 17, 2017
As it turns out, Moss wasn’t even where he was supposed to be. The Patriots improvised right on the spot and came up with one of the most impressive plays of the season.
The Brady-Moss connection and the ’07 squad gave us some incredible memories and unforgettable plays.
