Brady Banners says Bye
The symbolic Brady banner hanging at Gillette Stadium is no more. Sunday night once the Patriots regular season kicked off against the Arizona Cardinals, crews were on hand to remove the banner.
Owner, Johnathon Kraft, said that "From the end of the preseason to today, we wanted to symbolize the fact he is on everybody's mind and we love him."
The gesture got a big reaction from fans as they applauded the organization with the large picture of the quarterback hanging for all to see, along with his number above his face. But, Kraft says that now is the right time to take it down and that Brady is the last person to want all of the attention on him.
Brady said on a radio show last week that "I think it was a very cool gesture by Mr. Kraft and the team. I'll be excited to be back out there in October, when I'm there for real, but it was a really cool thing to do, and I was certainly very humbled and flattered to see it."
We can't wait to see you back on the field either Tom!
