Rams sign Dominique Easley
Dominique Easley has found a home in Los Angeles, as the former first-round pick of the Patriots has signed a one-year deal with the Rams.
Easley was waived by New England last month after injury concerns, among others, arose. Of course, injuries have always been a concern with Easley. He suffered two ACL injuries while at Florida, but the Patriots still took him 29th overall in 2014.
He was placed on injured reserve in both seasons he played in New England, but was effective when he played.
Given the Rams' depth on the defensive line, Easley won't be expected to make a big difference right away.
Rams D-line now includes five former 1st-round picks: Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn, Quinton Coples, Dominique Easley.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 17, 2016
The Rams are obviously banking on health for Easley. Should he stay healthy, he will certainly provide a big presence on that line due to his explosiveness.
