The Patriots have a ridiculously high-percentage chance to lock up home field

Our friends at Reddit have determined that the Patriots have a 94 percent chance at locking up the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC, which would give them home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

You can see more here, but things look good at the moment for the Patriots.

More from Reddit, which might be of some interest to Patriots fans:

• If the Broncos lose to the Bengals next week and the Chiefs win out, there is a 37% chance the Broncos are the 6 seed (24% chance at 3 seed, 24% chance at 5 seed)
• The Jets currently have a 77% chance of missing the playoffs
• The Steelers currently have a 42% chance at the 5 seed, and a 44 percent chance at the 6 seed. If they win out, they have a 70 percent chance at the 5 seed (we should be rooting for them to get as high a seed as possible)
