Patriots to meet with free agent RB Steven Jackson
With the Patriots thin at running back due to LeGarrette Blount's season-ending hip injury, the Patriots are looking for insurance. Yesterday they added Montee Ball, and today they'll meet with free agent running back Steven Jackson, according to multiple sources.
Jackson last played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons in 2014 and played under Josh McDaniels when the two were with the St. Louis Rams.
Source says #Patriots meeting today with RB Steven Jackson based on mutual interest. Pats need a RB and Jackson played for OC Josh McDaniels
