BREAKING: Patriots set to sign Steven Jackson today

Multiple sources are reporting that the Patriots will sign free agent running back Steven Jackson today.

The #Patriots are signing RB Steven Jackson today, source said. It's a one-year, minimum deal (@JosinaAnderson on it first).

Jackson last played in 2014 with the Atlanta Falcons. It is unclear what his role on the team will be, but Jackson will become the fifth running back the Patriots will feature on their roster. He's rushed for 11,388 yards in his career and scored 68 touchdowns.
