"Concussion" releases second trailer
"Concussion," the movie starring Will Smith that centers around the NFL's ongoing concussion problem, released a new trailer earlier this week.
Smith plays Dr. Bennett Omalu, a forensic pathologist who was the first to release data regarding head trauma in NFL players. Dr. Omalu's discovery of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) came when he performed an autopsy on former Pittsburgh Steeler center Mike Webster in 2002.
Dr. Omalu, along with his colleagues in the Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh, published their data in the journal Neurosurgery in 2005.
