Brian Hoyer suffered a concussion in Texans win over previously unbeaten Bengals
A former Patriot is on the shelf.
Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer suffered a concussion in last night's 10-6 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He was replaced by T.J. Yates, who led the Texans to a playoff game a few years ago.
Hoyer left the game with a stat line of 12/22 for 123 yards and an interception, but he was doing a decent job of managing the game.
With the Bengals loss, the Patriots stand alone as the only unbeaten team in the AFC, and they're in sole possession of the No. 1 seed in the conference.
