Was Ron Wolf being serious or sarcastic with Roger Goodell regarding Tom Brady?

Former Green Bay Packers executive Ron Wolf was present at last night's gold jacket ceremony, an event held a few days in advance of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's induction ceremony, and mentioned Tom Brady while shaking NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's hand.

"Way to go on the Brady thing," Wolf said.

Goodell laughed it off, but there are different opinions out there as to whether or not Wolf was being sarcastic or serious.



It seems that more than a few Patriots fans feel that Wolf was being serious due to Wolf's affiliation with the New York Jets. Wolf was a member of the Jets front office before joining the Packers in 1991 and served as an adviser along with Charlie Casserly this off-season while the Jets searched for a new general manager.
