Patriots cut TE Fred Davis


The Patriots cut tight end Fred Davis last week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.



The tight end position is set with Rob Gronkowski, Scott Chandler and Michael Hoomanawanui as the primary players, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Davis was once the franchise tight end with the Washington Redskins.
