BREAKING: Brady suspended, Patriots fined

The wait it over. The NFL brought down the proverbial hammer on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the NFL suspended Brady 4 games for his role in "DeflateGate" and fined the Patriots $1 million, as well as taking 2 future draft picks from the Pats.

And now NFL has announced it. Tom Brady suspended four games, Patriots fined $1 million, lose two picks.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a lot for a report that contained a lot of ifs in it. The Wells report was extremely flawed, posing more questions than it answered about the Patriots and Tom Brady's role in this story, which was overblown from the start. To me, they're trying to make up for earlier misteps with Ray Rice, AP, etc.

I would expect Brady to file an appeal sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for more.
