Tom Brady giving MVP truck to Malcolm Butler

One Super Bowl hero is giving another Super Bowl hero a gift.

Tom Brady said he is giving the red Chevrolet pick up truck he won as part of his Super Bowl MVP award to Malcolm Butler, who ripped the Vince Lombardi trophy right out of the Seahawks hands with a championship-clinching interception.

It was a play that will live in Boston sports and Super Bowl infamy. Butler is very deserving of whatever gifts and praise come his way, and this is the start of it.

The ever-humble Brady said there were many players who could have won the award as he received it Monday morning. But no one deserves the truck more than Butler. Brady even quipped that Butler had been picking him off in practice a lot, so he wasn't surprised to see Butler make the play.

“He’s been doing it to me in practice all season so it was nice to see him pick someone else off,” Brady joked.
Butler, as many know by now, was undrafted and won a spot on the team out of training camp. He made the play of his life, one that will never be topped by anything he does for the rest of his career.

“Malcolm made a huge play to save our season,” he said. “It was the perfect play at the perfect time. None of us will ever forget that play.”

Greatest Super Bowl ever.
