Play of the playoffs: Edelman to Amendola
It hasn't even been 24 hours since Julian Edelman hit Danny Amendola for a 51-yard touchdown that tied the Patriots with the Ravens at 28 late in the third quarter and I'm still shaking.
What. A. Game.
But that play could possibly go down as the play of the playoffs, and will be on highlight reels for years to come. There were rumblings about when Edelman would get a chance to throw, but in that setting, it was so unexpected. It was Edelman's first career NFL pass.
Not only that, but what made it better was that Amendola, much maligned, made the play and came up huge all around last night.
This makes me wonder what else Josh McDaniels might be waiting to use.
