Reports: Chandler Jones is active and playing

The Patriots will receive a huge boost today when they take on Miami as Chandler Jones returns to the lineup for the first time since October.

Chandler Jones is active for Patriots today, as is Dont'a Hightower.

Jones has been close to a return for awhile now, and should provide a huge boost to the Patriots pass rush. Jones should be able to generate pressure, even if he only plays limited snaps (which is possible, according to NESN's Doug Kyed).

It will be interesting to monitor Chandler Jones' usage today. Might be smart to just play him as a sub rusher on third down.

His ability to get pressure will be huge for New England - as we saw back in Week 2 when he blocked a field goal against Minnesota and returned it for a touchdown. His getting back on the field will bode well for the Pats today and for the rest of the season into the playoffs.
