Parents just don't understand, FCC logs complaints over Tom Brady's dirty mouth

CBS Sports

When the Patriots lost to the Green Bay Packers on Nov 30th, CBS cameras caught Tom Brady cussing up a storm. Later that week Brady talked about his affinity for the f-word and said to blame CBS and NBC for putting on the air.

Well at least three families took that literally and filed complaints with the FCC over the airing of Brady's dirty mouth.

My 6-year-old children know how to read lips even if there is no sound. So why during the telecast is CBS going out of their way with 1:53 minute left in the first quarter between the Patriots and the Packers game to show Tom Brady screaming the F word on national TV?" an Indianapolis parent complained to the FCC.

Another person complained that keeping "the camera on Tom Brady as he kept yelling was uncalled for."

"Just because there was no sound, it was clear enough to everyone. It was almost as if the announcers got away with it, because they did not actually say it. Very unprofessional," wrote the parent of a 10-year-old boy.

A little quick thinking on these parents part by saying he was just screaming "vacuum" and this could have all been avoided. But alas, here we are. Talking about complaints after seeing a professional athlete screaming a profanity on the sideline after they just lost a hard fought game.

The squeaky wheel always gets the cheese. Or maybe its oil. Whichever one it is you can expect less close ups when Brady gets mad.
