Thigh injury limiting Julian Edelman in practice

Erik Frenz of The Boston Globe reports Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has been limited in practice this week due to a thigh injury he suffered during the team's 42-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Edelman was able to play the rest of the game, however. He caught five balls for 50 yards and also carried the ball twice for 31 yards.

No word on what his status is for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions is yet, but keep up with PatriotsLife for the latest on the situation.
