The legend of Jonas Gray continues to grow.

Gray was nominated for FedEx's Ground NFL Player of the Week for his performance on Sunday night in the Patriots 42-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Gray originally rushed for 199 yards on 38 carries and scored four touchdowns in the victory.

However, a stat change that was just announced by Lee Schechter of ESPNBoston.com within the last hour has put him over the 200 yard mark, officially giving him 201 rushing yards on 37 carries.

Gray will also be featured on the cover on the upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated. Talk about a quick rise to stardom.

The Patriots have announced that a statue of Gray will be unveiled outside of Gillette Stadium before the team raises its fourth Super Bowl banner against the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning next season, because why not?
