Gray late and a practice short! Could Jonas Gray be held out?

One day, you are riding high after rushing for over 200 yards. The next day, you are sent home for running late to practice. Does anybody else see the irony in this?

Everyone in the Patriots organization is familiar with coach Bill Belichick's policy on tardiness. It is very simple, if you are late you do not practice. He does not care if you are a superstar (cough cough Revis) or a member of the practice squad. Belichick will not think twice about sending you home.

The timing of this couldn't be worse for Jonas Gray. Missing Friday's practice before the game could cost him some snaps. To make matters worse, the Patriots have brought LeGarrette Blount back after his short stay in Pittsburgh. As New England faces the Lions number one ranked defense,they will need to throw as many fresh running backs in order to establish the ground game.

Given the circumstances, will we see Jonas Gray in the mix on Sunday? Well according to his Twitter page, he certainly seems to think so.
