Akeem Ayers couldn't be happier with his time in New England
In Other News The Grass Is In Fact Greener On The Other Side

Moving day was Tuesday, October 21st. NFL:
There was a thought that Ayers would fit better in new defensive coordinator Ray Horton's 3-4 scheme; however, it never happened. Ayers has mostly been a healthy scratch for the Tennessee Titans and has played just 10 snaps in 2014.
For Akeem, there are no complaints. The three weeks he has been with the Patriots, the average score has been 45-21. The wins just keep on coming. The place he left is now 2-8 and headed further south.
In the NFL, they don't ask you where you would like to go when they get rid of you. DT Richard Seymour didn't ask to go to the Oakland Raiders. CB Ty Law couldn't have requested stops with the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and back to the Jets. S Lawyer Milloy didn't hold the Patriots ransom by demanding a move to the Buffalo Bills and then on to the Atlanta Falcons.
Sometimes, good things come to those who wait. In his fourth season with the Tennessee Titans, the playing field was off in the distance for Akeem. The losing wasn't helping to brighten his mood, either. NESN:
Ayers, whose Twitter background design still features him as a Titan, has experienced nothing but success since joining New England. Ayers has seven tackles and two sacks in three games with the Patriots — all wins by an average of 24 points.
I think it is time to update the Twitter account. It is better to be the last player on a first place team than the first player on a last place team.
Oh Happy Day!
