The tragedy that went down in Ferguson, Missouri has reached a dramatic conclusion. On Monday,a grand jury reached a verdict and decided to not charge Darren Wilson, Ferguson police officer, with murder of teenager, Michael Brown.
Many people took to social media to share their opinions about the grand jury's decision. However, Adrian Peterson is catching some heat in the media for making "unjust" comparisons with the Ferguson trial and his own personal child abuse case.
The GRAND JURY DECIDED NOT TO INDICT ME TOO! But that changed a week LATER! MAYBE,BUT NOT LIKELY N THIS CASE #PUTyourTrustNGODnotINtheWORLD!

Peterson's tweet was nothing more than an attempt to give people hope that perhaps the judicial system may decide to reverse their decision just like they did in his case. Not for one second did I interpret this tweet as hurtful or inconsiderate to Michael Brown and his family. His following tweets clearly support my claim.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO MIKE BROWN'S FAMILY! MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU! #PRAYING4PEACE

I will be the first to admit that I think what Adrian Peterson did to his child was wrong. The man has gone through the judicial system and still faces the fallout of his actions.
The media should be really ashamed of themselves for scrutinizing a man that is trying to show his support. The world continues to be plagued with racial tension and the media continues to perpetuate it with articles like this and for what? Ratings?
Despite how you feel about the verdict, it shouldn't be about white or black. Anytime a family suffers a tragic loss, we should rally around them. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Brown family and I hope that we learn from this tragic case.
