Tony Dungy says Tom Brady has the better career

Sorry , Peyton. Brady's better. Jim Davis/Boston Globe
In an interview aired on Pro Football talk, Tony Dungy says that hew would rather have Tom Brady's career than Peyton Manning's career. His rationale? Brady gets it done in the playoffs and that means more than the numbers Peyton Manning has put up. Tony Dungy did say that Peyton and the Denver Broncos have a better shot at the Super Bowl if they can establish a better run game, though. It's hard to argue with that, especially after the Broncos dismantled the Arizona Cardinals, but it's still Week 5 and I don't think we've seen the best of the Patriots yet.

I think just about every Pats fan out there would agree with Tony Dungy - Brady has won 3 Super Bowls and played in 5 overall and has posted the best postseason record in history at 18-8. That's certainly a lot better than Peyton Manning, who is 11-12 in the postseason and 1-2 in Super Bowls in his career. It's not hard to see why you'd want to have Brady's career over Manning. Manning has the numbers, breaking Brady's records from the 2007-08  season last year and passing 500 touchdowns yesterday, but Brady knows how to win come crunch time and I wouldn't trade 3 Super Bowls for anything, not even Manning's numbers and $1 million. Sorry, Peyton. Brady has you beat in the category that matters - Super Bowl wins.
