Patriots expected to sign free agent D-end Alan Branch
Coming on the heels of the devastating news that the Patriots will be without their best pass rusher for the toughest stretch of their 2014 regular season, the team is reportedly prepared to sign free agent defensive end Alan Branch in an attempt to partially replace the production of Chandler Jones.
Branch was drafted in the second round of the 2007 draft and has played for the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Bills. He was cut by the Bills this past summer after a DUI arrest.
More to come.
