Chandler Jones expected to miss significant time with hip injury
Reports from practice today had Patriots stud pass rusher, Chandler Jones, as one of the only absentees.
Of course, since Jones had finished last week's game, no one quite knew why. A recent report from the Boston Globe is shedding light on the situation though.
Chandler Jones missed practice today due to a hip injury – according to league source, it is expected to sideline him about a month

Jones was seen grabbing at his hip at certain points of last game, and his absence will be significant.
The Pats have a hard enough time generating a pass rush even with Jones on the field. Without him, it may prove near impossible.
Making matters worse, the Pats are about to go on a seriously difficult stretch. Over their next six games, the Pats will face the Bears, Broncos, Colts, Lions, Packers and Chargers. There are pretty good quarterbacks on every one of those teams, and this would put Jones' reported recovery as back for the Lions game at the earliest.
Per PFF, Jones has five sacks so far this season, three quarterback hits, 15 hurries and 14 stops (solo offensive tackle with consititues an offensive failure).
