Brandon Browner claims he's 'ready to go'

Among the current injury crisis under way in Foxborough, it is nice to know that we should be seeing a much anticipated Patriots debut tomorrow, and hopefully, the beginnings of a lethal tandem. Highly rated former Legion of Boom cornerback Brandon Browner looks like he is ready to pull on a Patriots jersey for game-day against the Jets on Thursday Night Football, after a four-week suspension and two weeks of injury to begin the year. Speaking with the media on Tuesday, Browner was clearly raring to go after riding the pine:

Providence Journal
Just like anybody else who’s been held out or hurt, I’m itching. [The ankle] is a lot better. I feel like I’m good to go.

Browner couldn't have picked a better occasion on which to make his first foray into Gillette Stadium, in a heated rivalry game with the Jets. Speaking to the occasion, Browner said:

Boston Herald
I’m excited to get back out there. I’m fortunate to be able to play against a divisional opponent. I’m looking forward to competing against those guys.

With his cornerback counterpart locking up number one receivers in the deep recesses of Revis Island over the last couple of weeks, count on Browner to be the hitman, forcing fumbles and grabbing picks when Geno realises he can't throw to anybody I'd almost put money on seeing Michael Vick this week.
