Patriots starting right tackle Sebastian Vollmer missed practice for the third time in a row. That puts his status for this week's game against the Panthers in serious doubt.

Fortunately though, the latest update on Vollmer's health appears to be a good news. The injury is not serious.

That should indicate that Vollmer will be back on the field for the start of the regular season. The offensive line has been banged up already so far, with Solder, Stork and Vollmer now all missing time at various points in camp.
Vollmer, a former second round pick re-signed by the team last season, has struggled with injuries throughout his career. He has had back problems before and missed last season after a horrific sounding leg injury.
