Gronk graduates to 7-7 drills, but still not taking contact

Another week, another sign of progress in the rehab of Rob Gronkowski's knee.
TE Rob Gronkowski is wearing a red non-contact jersey today as he graduates into participation in 7-on-7 drills.

While the Pats are still taking it slow with their star tight end (hence the no-contact jersey), it's yet another step forward towards having Gronk in the lineup for Week One. This is the first time Gronk has participated in any team drills in training camp, as he previously had been limited to individual drills in practice.
Sounds like the rest Gronk got last week while the rest of the team traveled to Virginia for practices with the Redskins did him some good. We'll keep an eye on Gronk's level of participation tomorrow when the Eagles invade Foxborough for two days of joint practices.
