Aaron Dobson, Dominique Easley are off the PUP and NFI lists

Aaron Dobson and Dominique Easley are ready to practice, or so it appears this morning.

Dobson had a screw placed in his foot during the off-season and hasn't seen the field since, missing minicamps, OTAs and all of training camp thus far. Scalavino's report that he will come off the PUP (Physically unable to perform) list is a great sign.

This does not necessarily mean that the second year receiver will be participating in full contact team drills, but it's a step in the right direction. The Patriots offense with a healthy Dobson to threaten on the outside and a healthy Rob Gronkowski on the inside may just be all the weapons they need to return to prominence.

Of course, Dobson is way behind having missed so much time, so his performance in camp bears watching.

Someone who is also far behind is rookie first round pick, Dominique Easley. Thankfully the defensive lineman has plenty of depth ahead of him on that line, and so he can afford the time missed since he won't be expected to contribute right away. However, it is still a good sign that he is back at practice so soon after tearing his ACL in college last season.
