Not Keller, not Finley, Pats agree with TE Nate Byham

Patriots have come to an agreement with TE Nate Byham. Mike Reiss of ESPN reported:

"The club has reached a deal with Nate Byham, who’s played the last two seasons with Tampa Bay. Byham reportedly worked out for New England in May."

The 26 year old has spent his last few seasons in Tampa, but was put on IR in October after suffering a calf and knee injury. Byham rounds out the 90 man roster and, leaves Pats fans wondering WHY? With six tight ends still on the roster and Keller and Finley still on the street Bill Belichick and Nick Castillo surely know more than we do,Right? Are our Undrafted free agents Asa Watson and 6'8 Justin Jones not panning out ? Is D.J Williams on his way out of New England? We will find out more in the next couple of weeks when training camp starts.
