Logan Mankins presser: clean-shaven Mankins raves about Gronk and more

No more beard for Logan Mankins. Don't believe me? Look at the picture posted by Shalise Manza Young
of the Boston Globe on Twitter below. Scary. He's almost unrecognizable - if Young hadn't said it was Mankins, I may not have known it was him.



One of the things that came out of his press conference was him raving about tight end Rob Gronkowski (who's cleared to play, according to Bill Belichick), saying that "any time you can have Gronk on the field, it's great," according to Mike Girardi of CSNNE. Mankins also raved about Gronk's blocking ability as well. In addition to talking about Gronk, Mankins also looked to his own future. According to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal, Mankins said he wants to play until it doesn't feel good.





Mankins has been in the league for 10 years, so we'll see how much longer he has. Hopefully, he does have a few good years ahead of him, but it'll depend a lot on health.
