Bill Belichick doesn't need a sofa
Its safe to say Bill Belichick doesn't care for anything that doesn't revolve around Sunday's game plan. In a Sports Illustrated article from February 2002 by Michael Silver, Bill Belichick shows his focus on the Super Bowl showdown with the St. Louis Rams. New England Patriot's Strong Safety Lawyer Milloy was apparently not happy with his hotel room. Apparently other players had bigger rooms with extra amenities such as a sofa, table etc... So Coach Belichick came to the rescue and traded rooms with Milloy, without thinking twice about it. Here's an excerpt from the article:

Whether its the night before the Super Bowl or if its during OTAs. Coach Belichick keeps his laser focus on his job. That's the culture he's instilled in the New England Patriots for the past fifteen years. We've seen it transform many players who have had behavior problems (Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Aquib Talib). Players learn to play the "Patriot way" and it starts from the top with Coach Belichick. His track record as a coach with the Patriots is undeniable: Five Super Bowl appearances, Three Super Bowls and Three AP NFL Coach of the year awards. Who are we to ever question him? Perhaps, we should all request rooms without sofa's. When it comes down to it, that sofa will not help you win a game on Sunday. You need to remain focused on your job and only on what's important. Hopefully that's the lesson Lawyer Milloy came away with.
On a lighter note, apparently back when he was the head coach in Cleveland. He did "give a s---" about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
