"No hard feelings." That's the route some people choose to go when their former employer let's them go. Not with Aqib Talib, though. Aqib Talib is still bitter that the New England Patriots decided not to re-sign him and go get Darrelle Revis instead.

Per Masslive.com:
“Bill sure didn’t want to give me that money so hey man, he gave it to Revis,” Talib told NFL Network, as transcribed by CSNNE. “It is what it is.”

“When it comes to cornerbacks man, it only should be about four cornerbacks who you could even consider in front of me,” Talib said. “Pat Pete (Patrick Peterson), Joe Haden, (Richard) Sherman, and Revis.”

He ultimately has no cause for complaint because he did get his Mile-High payday (pun intended) out in Denver - 6 years/$57 million to be exact. Talib said it himself - Revis is ahead of him on the list of corners, and the contracts they both received reflect that. Plus, Talib has a history of getting injured in crunch time in the past few years. That includes getting injured in the last 2 AFC title games. Given that, I think Denver overpaid for Talib, so he shouldn't worry about what his former employer decides to pay a better corner than him.
