Rob Ninkovich calls Darrelle Revis the best corner in the league


If Rob Ninkovich had a twitter, he could be expecting a mention from Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman pretty soon.

Nink is the latest Patriot to come out and call someone other than Sherman the best corner in the league. First it was LeGarrette Blount on Aqib Talib, whom Sherman lashed out at on twitter, now it's Nink on Darrelle Revis.

Ninkovich spoke with reporters at Gillette today and talked about the team's biggest acquisition of the off-season.



Things are calm right now, but this whole debate will surely get a lot of play come August.

Nink noted that both Browner and Revis can make a big difference for their defense, nothing that defensive ends are very happy to have two great cornerbacks behind them.

Also of note, Ninkovich seemed to imply that Jerod Mayo is recovering well from his torn pectoral muscle that placed him on season ending injured reserve early last year.
