Patriots still favorites to sign Will Smith

Defensive End Will Smith is coming out of a torn ACL injury, and the Patriots look to be the favorites to sign him, eve with other teams peaking interest according to Pro Football Talk.

The Patriots could be in the running for a one year deal to see how his knee holds up and how he plays here. Smith had a career high 13 sacks in 2009 with the Saints.

If he does sign, the Pats are at the mercy of a knee that has had problems before.
