Jets hosting Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Dolphins signing Cortland Finnegan
The AFC East has seen an influx of cornerbacks, and that continues today.
Of course the biggest move came when the Patriots signed Darrelle Revis, fresh off a release from Tampa Bay.
The Bills brought in Ravens cornerback Corey Graham and the Dolphins kicked everything off by re-signing Brent Gimes.
Next, it's the New York Jets' turn. They released Antonio Cromartie recently, and may be bringing in another Cromartie of sorts to replace him.

Rodgers-Cromartie fits their scheme quite well, and would undoubtedly be an upgrade over Cromartie, who had a down season last year. In 2013, DRC allowed just a 67.8 passer rating to quarterbacks throwing against him as a Bronco.
It is believed that if the Patriots plans for Revis fell through, DRC would've been a fallback option for them.
The Dolphins are also making moves, as it appears they are working on finalizing a two year deal with former Ram and Titan, Cortland Finnegan.

Finnegan is one of the most physical and feistiest corners in the league, and he specializes in covering the slot. That's a move that may be clearly geared towards the Patriots and their emphasis on the slot receiver.
