As the story broke at nearly midnight Friday night, as reported by
profootballtalk.com, after two visits that didn't exactly go well. Edelman and the New England Patriots are back in discussion and currently working on a contract extension (again). Julian Edelman decided to test the open market and perhaps he is realizing he doesn't quite deserve what he thinks his worth is. Another important side note is while he is old, Steve Smith signed for a 3 year, 11 million dollar deal. Whatever it means, let's just hope #11 is back in NE.
