Danny Amendola staying around?

Obviously the news of yesterday in Patriots land was Talib moving to get high in Denver for more money than anyone should give an injury prone player who has a drug history. Smart Elway. But lost in all the commotion was Danny Amendola sneakily staying with the team:

There is one reason Danny is still with the Pats: Julian Edelman is leaving the team. I know Pats fans are going to shit themselves if Bob and Bill let both Talib and Edelman leave in free agency but, before you get your panties in a bunch, remember Edelman has also had an injury riddled past and it was surprising he lasted all last season. The Patriots don't need more slot receivers, they need tight ends. And we still got that impressive backfield, assuming all this money is going towards keeping Blount. AND REVIS PEOPLE!

Moral of the story: be patient Patriots Nation.
