Brandon Browner still in Boston area, deal expected to get done with Patriots
There was a lot of controversy last night about Brandon Browner.
A report from Ian Rappaport surfaced late that Browner was signing a two year deal with the Patriots. However, that was refuted by both Adam Schefter and Browner's agent. Schefter noted that the two sides were working on a deal, and that it was complicated and nothing was done yet.
The latest?
Browner was apparently supposed to have vists with other teams today, including the Redskins, but he is still in the Boston area and the Redskins don't seem to think he'll be coming to Washington.

Per Redskins source, Brandon Browner isn't in Washington. Club under the impression he might do a deal with the Patriots.

Rappaport's initial report was based on people close to Browner believing he was signing with the Patriots, so it might be evident that he clearly wants to be there.
Browner was suspended indefinitely back in December of last season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. It was not the first time he'd done so either. He will be suspended for the fist four games of the 2014 season, and another infraction could cost him an indefinite suspension.
