Super Bowl in Foxborough a good idea?
Sunday's Super Bowl match up opened up the possibility of playing an outdoor Super Bowl in a less-than-ideal climate like Gillette Stadium. According to Pro Football Talk, Chicago mayor Rahm Emmanuel has already started lobbying for a Chicago Super Bowl while Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder and Patriots owner Robert Kraft have both said they would be interested in a Super Bowl in their respective stadiums.
PFT also reports that Philadelphia and Denver are already in the mix to host a Super Bowl in their respective stadiums. There are some places like Cincinnati, Green Bay, and Buffalo that don't have the hotel space or the infrastructure, but it looks like climate will no longer be an issue in determining where Super Bowls will be held in the future.

Said Kraft, “We would love one day to hold it. I’m a great supporter of playing this game in all elements.”
“We want a Super Bowl here, we deserve a Super Bowl here,” Snyder said last fall. “It’s the nation’s capital, it makes all the sense in the world.”
